Please note the minimum hardware requirements for running ViaVoice for Mac OS X are:
Please save the “ViaVoice_Update.pk.zip” file in case you need to reinstall ViaVoice for Mac OS X. Click Continue to go through the installation of the update. 
Double-click the “ViaVoice” package icon to launch the installer. Double-click the “ViaVoice(10.2.2)Update.pkg”. It will automatically decompress, creating an Installer package named “ViaVoice(10.2.2)Update.pkg”. Double-click on the “Viavoice_Update.pk.zip” file. If you have downloaded the file to your Desktop, you can continue to the next step, otherwise return to the directory where you downloaded the file. When the download is complete, close all applications. The Desktop is one of the available folders found in the folder list at the top of the dialog box. 
We suggest saving the file to your Desktop. You can save the file to any directory, as it will execute from anywhere on your system.
A Save dialog box will appear asking you where you want to store the file named “Viavoice_ Update.pk.zip”. Please read the Readme below then, if you agree, click on the "Download" button. This download is not intended for use with any other operating systems or IBM ViaVoice products. This download is intended as an update for ViaVoice for Mac OS X Edition and ViaVoice for Mac Simply Dictation and is only suitable for installation on Mac OS 10.2.2 through 10.2.6.
